VEGETARIAN WEATHERMAN SO DEVASTATED BY CLIMATE-CHANGE REPORT THAT HE VOWS TO NEVER TRAVEL BY PLANE AGAIN — BUT THAT AIN’T THE HALF OF IT

Meteorologist Eric Holthaus, who’s reported on weather for the Wall Street Journal, appears to be a serious practitioner of his craft.

He’s also serious about global warming. Because after he got a look at Friday’s climate-change report — which stated that global warming is ”extremely likely” to have been human caused — Holthaus apparently got a little misty:

Which led to what we can only dub, without further ado…
Weatherman Eric Holthaus’ climate-change promises-to-self:

Then there’s the whole having-children issue, which tends to suck oxygen from the sky and generate that blessed pitter patter of brand-new carbon footprints…but Holthaus isn’t having any of it.
Kids, that is:

And how might he pull off this feat? ‘Natch…

Here’s Holthaus in a video blaming an increase in extreme weather events such as last spring’s Oklahoma tornadoes and hurricanes on “our changing atmosphere” (from the Wall Street Journal Digital Network via YouTube):
